Whispers of the Soul: LDA’s Literary Stage

Jumeira University’s Language Development Academy (LDA) invites students to celebrate the power of language, creativity and culture at Whispers of the Soul: LDA’s Literary Stage on Thursday, 29 October 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the JU Auditorium.

Guided by the theme, “Where words come alive, cultures unite, and creativity speaks!”, the event will bring together students from different backgrounds to share their voices through literature, art and cultural expression.

Students can participate in a variety of creative activities, including Poetry Composition & Recitation in English, Arabic and native languages, Short Story Reading, Article & Essay Reading, an Art & Drawing Exhibition, and a Cultural Heritage Display showcasing traditional artefacts from Arab culture and the diverse heritage of the JU student community.

The event creates a welcoming space for students to express themselves, appreciate different cultures and connect through storytelling, creativity and shared experiences.

The event is proudly supported by D & R Homes Properties, specialists in student accommodation and hostel management.

We look forward to welcoming the JU community for an afternoon of creativity, culture and inspiring performances.
