By Jumeria University

Research begins with curiosity, but turning an idea into a meaningful contribution requires a clear understanding of the research process, the ability to develop relevant questions and a structured approach to investigation.

Jumeira University hosted a faculty development session titled “Research Clinic: Understanding Research – From Curiosity to Contribution” on Thursday, 8 October 2026. The session was led by Dr. Shaik Asif Hussain, Head of the Centre for Research and Consultancy and Associate Professor at Middle East College, Muscat.

The session explored the research process and offered faculty members practical perspectives on developing research ideas, navigating the different stages of research and translating initial questions into meaningful academic contributions.
