The College of Business at Jumeira University is pleased to announce a dedicated Women’s Photography Workshop, hosted on campus in collaboration with Nikon Middle East & Africa.
This initiative reflects JU’s focus on empowering learners through creativity, skill-building, and visual expression, especially in today’s digital content era.
Photography today is not only an artistic outlet. It is also a powerful storytelling medium. With mirrorless technology rapidly shaping the future of photography, understanding this system provides a strong foundation for aspiring creators. This workshop aims to give women the confidence, knowledge, and hands-on practice to explore photography more professionally and meaningfully.
What Participants Will Learn
The session will cover the fundamentals of mirrorless photography, delivered by Nikon’s certified photography mentors.
Participants will receive practical training on:
Understanding mirrorless camera features
Exposure, composition & framing
Shooting techniques for real scenarios
Insights on equipment, lenses & creative shooting
The workshop will also highlight the Nikon Youth & Kids Photo Club, a programme designed to support early photographic learning and inspire younger audiences to explore visual creativity.
