Program description
The program aims to qualify specialized and competent individuals to understand the principles and foundations of Islamic Sharia law, its applications, and its relations to contemporary jurisprudential issues. The program provides a pioneering educational environment that complies with the best international quality standards and links the acquisition of knowledge, application, and originality with contemporaneity. The program is designed to prepare a cadre of graduates who possess intellectual capabilities, professional ethics, and distinguished technical experience that will enable them to achieve professional success, actively participate in society, and meet the needs of the labor market locally and regionally.

Graduate Attributes1: Building Knowledge and Understanding:
- Forming an excellent scientific personality in his understanding of the provisions of Islamic Sharia and their applications and linking them to contemporary jurisprudential issues.
- Providing the community with researchers who have the ability to employ their research work in community service.

- Contributing to spreading positivity, moderation, and a moderate, integrated understanding of Islamic sharia law in society.

- Qualifying committed cadres who bear responsibility, are proficient in effective communication, and strive for progress and development.

- Preparing specialized scientific competencies that meet the needs of the labor market in the fields of jurisprudence and its principles and accommodate the requirements and developments of the times.
Program learning outcomes:
PLO 1: It addresses contemporary jurisprudential issues and developments, according to the tools of diligence and methods for deriving Sharia rulings.
PLO 2: Able to study different scientific opinions in the field of specialization and clarify fallacious concepts and ideas and ways to treat them in accordance with Islamic constants.
PLO 3: Creates new knowledge in accordance with scientific tools and international standards through extensive research and studies on jurisprudential and related issues.
PLO 4: To be able to communicate with others in an attractive and persuasive manner to serve the public good, committed to Islamic values and ethics.
PLO 5: Spreads moderate religious awareness and positive habits in society.
PLO 6: To be proficient in using modern means of communication to achieve effective communication in areas of specialization and others.
PLO 7: Deals with responsibilities, challenges, and variables in a systematic and scientific manner and within standards of excellence.
PLO 8: Develops and evaluates itself in a transparent and impartial manner in a sound, systematic manner.
PLO 9: Able to makes proper use of jurisprudential knowledge in the work environment, enabling him to find appropriate solutions in accordance with Sharia regulations and values.

Graduates of the program will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of career options in the Sharia judicial system as Sharia lawyers, Sharia or legal consultants in banking and financial institutions. Furthermore, the program qualifies its graduates to work in public and private Islamic institutions, charities and non-governmental organizations, as well as to pursue careers in academic or research. .
