Graduates of this program will have the opportunity to work in a broad range of career choices in the field of social and community service, such as: Da’waa & Irshad; Imama & Khataba, local authorities and Islamic agencies, endowments and charitable work, Islamic banks, family counseling in Sharia Courts, social media and communications, arbitration and management of Quran competitions, and research centers and universities focused on the field of Islamic studies.

ENTRY AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Secondary Education:
    • UAE Secondary School Certificate or equivalent
    • Score: At least 70% on Grade 12
  • Language:
    • Arabic: Non-native speakers must pass the Arabic Language Placement Test
    • English: All students must maintain one of the following scores at the time of admission:
      • TOEFL: 450
      • IELTS: 4.5
      • EmSAT: 950

DEGREE GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ISLAMIC STUDIES PROGRAM

The requirements for graduation with a Bachelor of Islamic Studies from the University are completing 133 Credit Hours made up of three types of requirements including:

  • University General Requirements (24 Credit Hours)

  • College Requirements (35 Credit Hours)

  • Program Requirements (74 Credit Hours)
