JU is proud to launch the JU71 Research strategy initiative in response to the UAE government's strategic visions manifested in the announcement of three major initiatives.
The first was the UAE Centennial 2071, launched in March 2017, and the second was the principles of the 50, launched in September 2021. The third was launching the National Strategy for Higher Education 2030. The three initiatives inspired the UAE federal government to launch 62 federal level strategies and plans and 32 local governments strategies and techniques that are all serving the UAE Centennial 2071. The profound changes and development in the UAE government sectors motivated JU to revisit its research transition plan and vision.
The university leadership decided to revitalize its business model to be more adaptive to the UAE Centennial 2071 expected initiatives and projects. JU71 empowers JU to strategically reposition itself in the UAE higher education institutes as one of the top-ranking universities in research outcomes and teaching quality. JU71 will make research a significant building block for all learning and collaboration activities.

Islamic & Emiratis values, principles, ethics, culture, and beliefs will drive JU's research agenda in the next 50 years
The key national focus shall remain the strengthening of the union, its institutions, legislature, capabilities and finances. The development of the urban and rural economies throughout the nation is the fastest and most effective way to consolidate the union of the Emirates.
The core value system in the Emirates shall remain based on openness and tolerance, the preservation of rights, the rule of justice and the law. We believe in the preservation of human dignity, the respect for cultural diversity, the strengthening of human fraternity, together with enduring respect for our national identity. The country will remain supportive, through its foreign policy, of all initiatives, pledges and international organisations that promote peace, openness and humanity.
The Emirates’ foreign humanitarian aid is an essential part of its vision and moral duty towards less fortunate peoples. Our foreign humanitarian aid is not tied to religion, race, colour or culture. Political disagreement with any country should not justify failing to provide relief to that country in cases of disasters, emergencies and crises.
6B. Rauchbier
Overall Impression: An elegant, malty German amber lager with a balanced, complementary beechwood smoke character. Toasty-rich malt in aroma and flavor, restrained bitterness, low to high smoke flavor, clean fermentation profile, and an attenuated finish are characteristic.
History: A historical specialty of the city of Bamberg, in the Franconian region of Bavaria in Germany. Beechwood-smoked malt is used to make a Märzen-style amber lager. The smoke character of the malt varies by maltster; some breweries produce their own smoked malt (rauchmalz).
