Honor Scholarship Requirements

Partial Scholarship of 50% and 75% tuition fees discount offered to UAE residence based on their academic achievements. The First Honor scholarship is awarded to students who obtain a score of (90%) or above in their high school certificate. The Second Honor scholarship is awarded to students who obtain a score of (80%) or above in their high school certificate.

Honor Scholarship conditions:

• Applicant must be a UAE national.
• Must be between 18 to 19 years old.
• Must hold a score of at least 90% in their high school certificate for first honor scholarship.
• Must hold a score of at least 80% in their high school certificate for second honor scholarship.
• Must retain good academic standing with a GPA of 3.00 for first honor scholarship and a GPA of 2.7 for second honor scholarship.
• Must be a full-time student with 15 credit load each semester.
• Meet English language requirements.
• Must pass required interview.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Mujtamaee Scholarship Requirements

Full tuition scholarship for one academic year for students who obtained a score of (75%) in high school in the current year on a pro rata basis.

Mujtamaee Scholarship conditions:

• Applicant must be a UAE citizen or permanent resident
• Must be between 18 to 21 years old.
• Hold a score of at least 75% in high school certificate with gradation date not more than 2 years.
• Must retain good academic standing with a GPA 2.5
• Meet English language requirements.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Family Scholarships Requirements

This is a partial scholarship for one academic year. Siblings receive 10% waiver of tuition for the first year of study.

Family Scholarships conditions:

• Students must meet admission requirements of program they are willing to join.
• Submit required program admission documentation by the required deadline.
• Submit required program admission documentation by the required deadline.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Access Scholarship Requirements

This is a partial scholarship for each year of the degree. The scholarship include tuition waiver between 25%-75% for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Access Scholarship conditions:

• Applicant must be a UAE citizen or permanent resident
• Must meet admission requirements of the program they are willing to join
• Hold a score of at least 75% in high school certificate.
• Must obtain high school certificate not less than two years old.
• Students must retain good academic standing with a GPA 2.5
• Student must be a full-time with 15 credit load each semester.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Academic Achievement Scholarships Requirements

This scholarship is provided to JU’s full-time students. It is based on annual academic performance. The University provides up to 15% waiver of tuition for returning students who are on the Dean’s List and have a CGPA of 3.5 or higher.

Academic Achievement Scholarships conditions:

• Students must retain good academic standing with a GPA of 3.5.
• Meet English language requirements.
• Must be a full-time student with 15 credit load each semester
• Grant will be given as a credit after successfully completing each semester.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Early Admission Scholarships Requirements

This is a partial scholarship for one academic year provided to students who apply before 31st July. Student receive 10% waiver of tuition for the first year of study.

Early Admission Scholarships Conditions:

• Students must meet admission requirements of the program they are willing to join.
• Submit required program admission documentation by the required deadline.
• Meet English language requirements.
• Submit admission application by 31st July.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Partnership Scholarship Requirements

This scholarship is offered to students from schools or establishments that have agreements with the university. The scholarship offers between 30% to 75% discount on tuition fees, given annually on a prorated basis.

Partnership Scholarship Conditions:

• Partnership 30% Must retain good academic standing with a GPA and CGPA 2.5
• Partnership 50% Must retain good academic standing with a GPA and CGPA 2.7
• Partnership 75% Must retain good academic standing with a GPA and CGPA 3.0
• Students must meet admission requirements of program they are willing to join.
• Submit required program admission documentation by the required deadline.
• Meet English language requirements.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.

English Program Scholarship Requirements

Partial scholarship worth 30% of the tuition value for all levels of the English Language Program.

English Program Scholarship conditions:

• Student must be enrolled in one of the university programs.
• Should not exceed 2 years at the English programs.
• Must fulfill the requirement of the program degree completion plan.
• Must follow the Academic Program Road map (ARM) issued by the registrar office and register for courses indicated in the ARM.
• Must complete the study at the University and not postpone or halt any semester until graduation.
• Must not change the Major of the academic program he/she registered in.

Zakat Fund Scholarship Requirements

This scholarship is offered to students who struggle financially, and are eligible for Zakat. To help the students continue their journey in education and financially. It is based on the financial statement that is submitted by the applicant.

Zakat Fund Scholarship Conditions:

• Applicant has to be eligible for Zakat.
• Students must meet admission requirements of program they are willing to join.
• Applicant must be a UAE national or resident.
• Applicant must be committed to the scholarship terms and pledge to agree to the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
• Students must retain good academic standing with a GPA 2.5
• Must be a full-time student with 15 credit load each semester.

Zayed Scholarship Requirements

A full tuition scholarship designed by the university on the behalf of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and is a scholarship for one student.

Zayed Scholarship Conditions:

• Applicant must be a UAE national or resident.
• The applicant’s age must range between (18) to (19) years old and must be a high school graduate from the current year. Those who are enrolled in the National Service are exempted and scholarship forms are accepted from the previous year.
• Must hold a score of at least (95%) in their high school certificate.
• To pass the personal interview from the Scholarship Committee.
• To meet the English language requirements for the program.
• Students must retain good academic standing with a GPA 3.5
• Must be a full-time student with 15 credit load each semester.
• Applicant must be committed to the scholarship terms and pledge to agree to the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
