Jumeira University is a private higher education institution in Dubai,United Arab Emirates, that offers accredited programs in a wide range of disciplines,including Business Administration, Education, Health Sciences, and Islamic and Arabic Studies.
Our Founder
Khalifa Bin Dhaen Al Mheiri
Jumeira University was founded by Major General Khalifa bin Dhaen al Mheiri, born and raised in Jumeira, Dubai. Jumeira was at the time a small settlement of makeshift homes made of tent cloth and palm fronds, where a close-knit community prospered on the cooperation between its members. In this environment, Major General Khalifa bin Dhaen al Muheiri came of age, showing early signs of disciplined and determined character.
At the young age of 14, he joined the military, where he quickly moved through the ranks owing to his effective leadership skills. Later on, he became one of the earliest members of the then-nascent Dubai Police Force, where he would work for over 50 years, nurturing and guiding the cadres of many generations that joined the force as it expanded and grew ever since.
