1. Program Description
The Master in Al-Fiqh Wa Usuluh explores the principles and complexity of the science of Islamic Shari’ah, its applications and association to the contemporary jurisprudential issues.
The program prepares specialized competent individuals in the fields of jurisprudence that are advocate of an authentic and modern perspective to deal with the contemporary jurisprudence issues and developments, in accordance with the tools and the methods of devising Sharia rulings.
2. Career Prospect
Graduates of the program will have the opportunity to work in a broad range of career choices in the field of Syariah Judiciary, Syariah Lawyers, Syariah or Legal Advisors At Banking & Financial Institutions, Islamic public and private intuitions, Islamic charities and non-governmental organisations or pursue an academic or research career.
3. Study Mode, Duration & study Plan
The program is offered on a part-time basis. The total number of required credits for this program is 33 credit hours. The program includes 25 credit of taught courses plus and a master thesis of 9 credit. Students are expected to complete their degree within two years and a maximum of 4 years.

5. Entry & Language Requirements
Obtain a CGPA of 3.0 in a Bachelor degree in Islamic or Shari’ah law.
Arabic Language Requirements
The instructional language is Arabic, and non-native speakers of Arabic must pass the University Arabic language placement test.
English Language Requirements
Students must obtain the following scores (or their equivalent) at the time of admission: TOEFL 400 or IELTS 4 or EmSAT between 825 and 925
