Learning outcomes
The programme uses a module-based curriculum to develop four basic language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This is done in a way that enables students to understand basic Arabic language in terms of speech and syntax, and then applies the basic language components (phonetics, vocabulary, and compositions) through the teaching of basic grammar. The programme is instructed in an interactive learning environment that enables the students to gradually build their linguistic skills.
Application is a key part of the programme; students are given the opportunity to apply the skills acquired in the classroom through educational activities that employ active learning and language practice through discussion, dialogue, and individual and group reading.

The program is offered through eight modules. The duration of the full program is 43 weeks for the 8 levels. Each level is completed in 4 weeks and 16hrs in a week. There are achievement tests between levels and in the end of the program there is a proficiency test.
